My work  begins with gathering archival material, research, and literature, and develops through sharing knowledge within various communities. I am interested in how ideas of the ‘real’ and the body overlap with hierarchies of power, often revealing abjection, injustice, and challenging concepts of the 'real'.

 

While my practice takes many forms, and is shaped by context, site, and materials, It is rooted in a consistent methodology: bringing  archival research, personal experience and community history together -  everything all at once.
